We are focused on technical and medical products for sale in our domestic market.
MEDICAL – Our flagship Medical product line is involved in several healthcare areas including : Heine diagnostic equipment and Seca medical measuring systems from Germany and several other items such as CTG, dopplers, autoclaves and sundries such as incontinence pads, medical tapes, disinfectants, bandages etc.We supply AGFA X-Ray equipment, films and products and Mindray ultrasound equipment. We represent Getinge, the gold standard in quality medical equipment such as theatre lights and tables, pendants, anaesthesia equipment and mechanical ventilators. We also offer a wide range of theatre consumables such as gloves and other disposal products.
Pharmaceuticals – KDB Healthcare pharmaceuticals division is registered by the MCAZ. We specialise in a few lines closely linked to our medical division. We offer injectables, anesthetic agents and X-Ray contrast media to compliment our radiology products. We aim to build up a specialist portfolio of drugs focusing on key synergies with other medical lines.
Laboratory – The laboratory product line services industrial and medical school laboratories as well as research organisations such as SIRDC and the University of Zimbabwe. KDB Healthcare holds distributorships in Zimbabwe for Sartorius weighing and filtration instruments, sample preparation and microscopy equipment, and Evermed refrigeration for blood banks and laboratories.
Service – Service is vital to our sales effort. KDB Healthcare operates an electronics workshop which performs repairs and upholds warranties on products supplied. Our technicians are factory trained and KDB Healthcare invests heavily every year in technical and sales training of its staff and also provides tools and test equipment. We are now running annual service contracts with customers that purchase our equipment.
